Overview
The Lally Innovation Competition welcomes all prospective candidates who have strong imaginations and a passion for innovation, and an interest in taking their innovation from idea to reality.
We hold a bold vision for those who participate in this contest. We hope to stir the creativity and solutions that the next generation of leaders holds within them. Lally Innovation Scholarship recipients will receive one-on-one mentoring and participate in both in- and out-of-classroom experiences that will increase the probability of successfully launching a new venture.
The vision of this competition is to encourage innovators to use their creativity to generate ideas and spur economic development.
As the global economy begins its climb out of the recession, we believe that the next generation of entrepreneurs will help bring about sustainable economic recovery. At the Lally School, we have developed an Innovation Ecosystem that incorporates:
- An innovative curriculum created by faculty and corporate partners to meet the needs of global businesses;
- Experiential learning through center-sponsored activities, like the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship "Tech Launch Pad" series and Tech to Market;
- A unique one-on-one leadership development program that engages you, your colleagues and members of the community to create a network of individual support.
